A Bright and Busy BVE

This years BVE at ExCeL saw numbers of videographers, DoP’s and lighting professionals through the doors, who all came to have a plug and play with some of the latest equipment available.

The LCA stand was full of such goodies including the new Matrix 5 colour module, K5600 Alpha 800, MapLite from LiteGear as well as their EFX dimmers. There was also huge interest in the LiteMat range from LiteGear along with the Cineo Matchbox, Matchstix and Maverick. The range of accessories from DoPchoice proved to be popular too with their easy to assemble SnapGrids and SnapBags.

We were also delighted to support the Simeon Quarrie, Lighting for Story workshops, held in the BVE Lighting and Cinematography theatre, where the incredible crowds watched Simeon create different story scenes using a selection of lights from LiteGear and Cineo Lighting as well as the EFX dimmers. With help from some audience participation and a handful of props, the seminars certainly sparked the creative minds watching.
