This open day event on Tuesday 16th May at London’s RiDa East Studios, sees renowned DoP, Adam Suschitzky demonstrating a wide range of LED lights in a studio setting with working scenarios. Each workshop is an hour long and is repeated throughout the day. Spaces are limited and therefore we recommend that you pre-register for one of his workshops. Register here
Throughout the day from 11am-7pm, we will have a separate studio set up with the LED fixtures where you will have the opportunity to get hands on with the lights. Drop in any time – no registration needed.

About Adam Suschitzky
Third generation cinematographer, Adam began his career in the film and television industry 1990. Working first as an on set photographer, then moving in to the camera department where he worked as a camera assistant on features, notably The Browning Version and Naked Lunch.
In 1997 Adam graduated from the three-year diploma at the National Film & Television School in Beaconsfield. He swiftly began his career as a cinematographer in his own right photographing documentaries, award winning international commercials and music videos.
With a thirst to shoot long form Adam’s career in Television drama began in 1999. He soon established himself on top UK shows with the likes of Spooks, Hustle & Life On Mars. Always seeking to vary the genres, Adam went on to make many period dramas, such as Emma, Upstairs Downstairs, Bletchley Circle and The Village, alongside sci-fi with the BBC’s Outcast.
Adam made two features in the early 2000’s, Middletown & Little Ashes. Both movies were period, one in Ireland and the other in Spain. The latter stared Robert Patterson as Salvador Dali.
In recent years Adam has made inroads in to the US market shooting Titanic, the mini series for ITV Studios/ABC, which was BSC nominated. The pilot Dominion for the Syfy Channel. Adam went on to shoot the thirteen part sci-fi thriller The Whispers for Steven Spielberg’s company Amblin TV. Then came the mini series 11.22.63 for Bad Robot/Steven King, an adaptation of the cult novel staring James Franco. Most recently Adam shot the new political thriller for ABC & Netflix called Designated Survivor, staring Kiefer Southerland.
