Conference of Light 2020

LCA were proud to support an independent test of a wide range of LED lighting fixtures in Berlin in May. Today, (Friday 31st January), the lead organisers were here at the BSC Expo to present their findings.

Gaffer, Timm Bruekner along with cinematographer, Philippe Ros AFC and Co-chair of the Technical Committee of Imago and Michael Carstens of Delight Rental Services, spent days together (with other gaffers and a colourist) looking at different LED fixtures  when used with a dark and bright skin tone.

These tests are incredibly detailed and technical, looking at lighting different skin tones using fixtures from Arri, LiteGear, Creamsource, Kino Flo, Velvet, Astera and more. There’s a lot to pour over so clear a few hours to pour over the video and information.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch with any of the team (details are in the presentation).

The Pdf will give you instructions on how to view the video and technical info together.
